No. The Family Care File is an organisational tool for recording your own observations, so you can share clear information with your child's health professionals. Always follow their guidance.

Does my child need a diagnosis to use this?
No. It's useful whether you're still seeking answers or managing a known condition. Many parents use it to gather information before assessments.

Is it suitable for foster and kinship carers?
Yes. It's designed for anyone caring for a child with challenging behaviour, including foster, kinship and respite carers, and grandparents raising grandchildren.

What's the difference between the digital and print editions?
The digital edition is a fillable PDF you can type into or print at home. The print edition is a professionally printed, coil-bound A4 book with 13 weeks of tracking pages, and it includes the digital version free.

What format is it?
A fillable PDF. You can type straight into it on your phone, tablet or computer, or print it and write by hand.

What paper sizes are included?
Both A4 and US Letter, plus a filled-in example in each size.

How do I get it?
Straight after purchase, you'll see a download button and receive an email with your files.

Can I print more than one copy?
Yes, print as many copies as your household needs.

Print edition

How long does the print edition take to arrive?
Each book is printed when you order, then shipped with tracking. Please allow 10 to 14 business days for printing plus delivery. You'll get the digital version straight away, so you can start while you wait.

Where do you ship?
The print edition currently ships within Australia and the United States, and is printed locally in each country. The digital edition is available worldwide.

Can I get a refund?
Because digital products are delivered instantly, I don't offer refunds for change of mind. If there's a problem with your files or your book, contact me and I'll make it right. See the full refund policy.

Purchases are for personal household use. If you're a professional or organisation wanting to use The Family Care File with multiple families, please get in touch about a licence.
